Eager to extend her knowledge, she got her doctorate of audiology from Kent State University in 2013 and left Ohio to work in a large ENT practice, where she changed the lives of many patients. Using her patient-focused approach, she spends a lot of time developing a rapport with patients so that she can work with them to diagnose and treat their hearing loss. This involves a combination of methods including diagnostic testing, hearing aid selection, fitting, routine maintenance, and counseling. One of Dr. Dennison’s favorite moments at Audiology Associates has been changing someone’s life through the Hear for the Holidays competition. “Being able to help someone who served our country, who was such a positive person, is amazing. Seeing how appreciative someone can be to hear and communicate with family and loved ones is always so inspiring.” Dr. Dennison loves the sense of family and a team approach at Audiology Associates, where everyone is so supportive of each other’s successes. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her daughter, husband, and dog. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with friends.
