I was told that the doctor would send me an email with instructions for our video appointment. Got nothing and never heard from the office or doctor

She was very friendly and ready to help.

I called Dr. Riemer's office before my appointment. I left voicemail: One of my psych meds, clonazepam/Klonopin is a controlled substance. In my voicemail, I specifically asked if she would prescribe clonazepam. She didn't return my call. Several days before the appointment, I filled out forms and listed all the meds I'm on. So Dr. Riemer had ample notice that I was taking a controlled substance. Yet when I got to my appointment, she told me that Brightside's (Who is Brightside? I signed up with Zocdoc) policy is NOT to prescribe controlled substances. So I wasted my time and my money on this ultra-short appointment, and I assuredly will not be seeing Dr. Riemer again. I think that you, Zocdoc, need to inform patients IN ADVANCE about the policies of the psychiatrists you are sending them to. It was a rude shock to me.
