Dr. Denny then received her Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School at Houston. Dr. Denny specializes in treatments for patients ages 3 and older. Her internal medicine internship was completed at Methodist hospital of Houston followed by the completion of her dermatology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School at Houston and MD Anderson cancer center. She is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as well as the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatologic Society, and the Houston Dermatologic Society. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Denny’s dermatologic interests include the treatment of a wide range of general dermatologic conditions in both pediatric and adult patients as well as the prevention and treatment of skin cancer. Although Dr. Denny grew up in the DFW area, after 13 years of living in Houston she now considers Houston her home. She has an identical twin, Dr. Rachel Schmidtberger, who is also a Dermatologist here at Texas Dermatology Specialists. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, reading, trying new restaurants and spending time with her Husband, Jared, and their 2 dogs, Archie a 1-year-old golden retriever, and Maisie a 4-year-old Morkie.
