What should a new client know about working with you?

I love to work with young adults as well as mid career level adults , and all adults 22 to 63 experiencing symptoms I can help to alleviate to achieve wellness. We look at the big picture , how things are working and collaborate for change as necessary . While I absolutely do short term therapy of interpersonal and cognitive techniques , usually it’s strongly recommended if insured or able, to have ones individual therapist , happy to communicate as needed .

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First we determine your main concern and overview …this can take a couple of sessions for completeness. There’s a look at immediate steps to take to feel better , along with thoroughness about meds prescribed . Counseling , time permitting , usually evolves where needed to supplement primary therapy so that I can understand your unique experience and what matters most . Please not I do generally require those seeking help for PTSD/ trauma to have primary therapist , with evidence based support for the combination treatment approach

Dr. Beisel is knowledgeable and puts you at ease. She does not rush your appointment a will answer all of your questions. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Beisel has been an integral part of my recovery. She provides a safe environment for me to work out the issues confronting me and leaves me with a sense of accomplishment. I am confident that this is a good fit for me.
I am thankful to find Dr. Beisel. Dr Beisel is a very experience psychiatric professional. She is sharp and she cares about patients. Through her coaching and treatment, I understand myself better and I'm also accepting life better. Dr. Beisel helped me find myself and enjoy life again!
The visit started off okay. The office was cluttered and comfortable seating wasn't provided. There was only an oversized loveseat. I had to sit sideways to face the doctor. Towards the end she kept repeating herself like 5 times even after I said I understood but still repeated herself. It didn't give me confidence in her profession and I just felt like I waisted my time and money. I would not refer her to anyone.
I hated my experience with this provider. She is rude, unprofessional, condescending and weirdly combative. Judgemental, sour, i could go on. She is also a horrible listener, or she was messing up and twisting my words repeatedly and on purpose. Either way, it was weird. Opening up to her was hard and unnatural, and having a normal conversation with her felt impossible. I've seen many doctors and providers in my life, and I had never left a provider's office feeling that uncomfortable, uneasy, and frustrated. I even asked myself if I was crazy for feeling so strongly about it, until I took a glance at google reviews and saw the many people warning against booking an appointment with this Dr. this appointment was a waste of time, money, and vulnerability
Prior to seeing Dr. Beisel my anxiety was effecting my daily life and it was quite physically draining at that point. I was hesitant to see a psychiatrist again because I was on too many medications at one point. Dr. Beisel heard my concerns and developed a treatment plan for me that has been working great for me. I’m back to myself but better. Highly recommended
It was pleasant. I brought up several concerns regarding my medication, and she got straight to the point. She also shows caution when advising new or different medications instead of giving me a sales pitch, as I've previously experienced with other medical professionals. Regarding my mental health, I'm grateful she has a gradual approach instead of medicating me to oblivion.
Dr. B has been excellent. She was able to see me right away when I reached out, and she is outstanding about reading my mood and letting me set the pace for our meetings. There is no one else I would trust my mental health to, and I look forward to continuing to work with her!
Dr. Beisel was able to get me in quickly and was able to provide me with the help I needed. She’s been accessible when needed and helped ensure that I was on the right meds for me.
