“After years of trying different anxiety medications psychiatrists, I finally found someone who truly listened to me. Dr. Lisa George didn’t just glance at my chart or rush through our session, she looked at me as a person, not just a diagnosis. For the first time in a very long time, I felt genuinely seen and heard. She took the time to understand my experiences, my history, and my goals. Together, we created a thoughtful plan moving forward, and for the first time in years, I’m actually feeling hopeful. It’s rare to find a psychiatrist who combines compassion, professionalism, and a deep sense of care. I’m incredibly grateful to have found her.”

I love my visits with Lisa George! She’s so easy to talk to and is very calming. I often feel like I’m talking to a friend , as opposed to a medical professional.
Lisa is empathetic and diagnosticly astute. She creates a safe and supportive space, a place where I feel heard and taken seriously. When I was under duress, she was quick to respond and quick to make suggestions having to do with my medications. She has never talked down to me, rather the opposite - I feel she is a collaborator, guiding and helping me on a journey to greater stability and happiness.
NP Lisa George is an amazing provider. Her bedside manner is impeccable, she dedicates a great amount of time during our visits, and she has helped me greatly. I am so grateful to have found this practice. She is very responsive and since we do our sessions over telehealth, I am able to fit our appointments in my very hectic schedule. I highly recommend SoHo Health and would encourage anyone to make an appt with NP George.
I was so hesitant to start medication but knew I needed it. She eased every single fear I had and listened! I'm used to doctors just telling me what to do but she gave me power in the decision and plan. She's worth the wait to see.
I have to say she really takes a holistic approach to care and it's so refreshing. I would not trust anyone else treating my depression and anxiety. She is the best.
Completely unprofessional. First, they canceled the appointment when I had to wait around 2 weeks for that. Then, they call me 30 minutes before the rescheduled appointment to tell me that they do not take my insurance. They had around one month to verify that. They did not respect my time. It is unbelievable that a person who works in mental health, does not care about the importance of one scheduling appointments.

She never showed up for my meeting
There is no one better than NP Lisa. For years I've been struggling seeing so many different psychiatrists and she figured it all out in a couple of sessions and I am finally at ease and feel so hopeful.
Amazing, caring and very patient doctor. She takes her time to truly get to know and understand, while explaining and educating, prior to making any recommendations.

Lisa took the time to listen to all of my concerns, explain everything in detail, and provide thoughtful, thorough answers to my questions. It’s rare to find a provider who genuinely takes the time to make sure you feel fully understood and comfortable with the next steps.
Love her! She is so easy to talk to and really listens. I've had a lot of providers manage my meds and no one is better than her.
Lisa has helped me through so much and I'm so grateful. I always used to feel like I was on a conveyer belt with my old doc and she never makes me feel rushed. She takes her time and really cares.
Easy and pleasant visit. Wasn’t sure I initially wanted to discuss my mental health w a female provider but she made me feel at ease and helped and continues to help me tremendously.
Lisa spent longer with me than any other provider that has treated me. She made me feel at ease while discussing difficult areas of my health. All concerns were addressed with the upmost professionalism and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for mental health care.
I had a really positive experience with my NP, Lisa. She’s attentive, empathetic, and genuinely listens to my concerns. She took the time to explain my treatment options clearly, making me feel empowered in care. Lisa’s approach is both professional and caring, and I leave every session feeling understood and supported. It is obvious to me that her priority is making sure her patients feel safe, seen and cared for. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable provider.
Lisa helped me through a really rough time when I was postpartum and dealing with anxiety and depression. Her kindness, knowledge and compassion saved me. I cannot recommend her enough.
Lisa took such great care of me at such difficult time for me. She listened to everything I said, made me feel heard for the correct diagnosis. 10/10
Lisa George is not only a gem of a person, but a detailed, invested and caring provider. She truly takes the time to listen to her patients to understand their needs , allowing for a personalized treatment plan. With medicine becoming so streamlined, it’s nice to have someone like Lisa who cares for the wellbeing and longevity of her patients. I cannot recommend her enough!
Lisa’s non judgmental approach immediately put me at ease. She’s super knowledgeable and empathetic, the makings of a great psych. She put me on anti-anxiety meds and I’ve been feeling much better and able to sleep better at night. I’m so happy I finally found someone who actually listens to me and makes me feel comfortable.
