About Lisa Grinnell
Lisa has a diverse background and brings her kindness and efficiency to the team as a Physician Assistant.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Environmental and Water Resource Economics. After undergrad, she joined the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's resource planning team. For six years, she worked as a resource analyst focusing on resource modeling; climate-related planning issues; program development, administration, and analysis; and data management. During this time, she obtained her EMT-B through UCLA's Center for Prehospital Care and got her first taste of working in medicine. She then spent a year volunteering and traveling, with the majority of this time in Africa, including assisting at a remote Maasai hospital in Kenya and an internship at an animal hospital for seabirds in South Africa. After seeing firsthand the value and need for midlevel medical providers, she returned to Arizona and earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale.
Lisa practiced in infertility for three years before joining ADHD Clinic of Arizona. She appreciates the challenges and nuances of working in medicine and looks forward to meeting you at your next appointment!

Seemed odd that this place would require a urine sample when I was there for a diagnosis. Would completely understand the test if a medication was prescribed in the future that possibly a urine test would be needed, but not before. If you are looking for a diagnosis , run away from this place as all you will get is aggravation.

I really enjoyed my experience at this clinic! I've already recommended Lisa Grinnell to my friend who is considering getting tested for ADHD. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a lot of information about ADHD and the medication I was prescribed. Everyone I interacted with was kind, and I was seen right away even though I was early to my appointments. It feels amazing to finally have my diagnosis and get started on medication to treat my ADHD!
