Getting to know Lisa Utt

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnostic assessment, and medication management through telehealth across Kansas. My care is evidence-based and medically grounded, emphasizing accurate diagnosis, prescription safety, and ongoing monitoring. I work with children (ages 8+), adolescents, and adults, focusing on ADHD and anxiety. Treatment is individualized and collaborative, considering developmental stages and real-world functioning. Medication decisions are transparent, with clear education and shared decision-making. I do have experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use, and I am comfortable with the evaluation and management of outpatient MAT when appropriate. Medications such as benzodiazepines are not prescribed on initial visits and will be considered only once long-term evaluation is completed and when clinically appropriate. Many patients have complex histories or uncertainty about diagnosis and next steps. I offer a non-judgmental, inclusive space respecting all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. My focus is meeting each person where they are today, honoring their lived experience, and building a collaborative, forward-moving plan.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You will find a safe, respectful, and inclusive space open to all identities, cultures, and beliefs. I support children eight years plus, teens, and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood changes, trauma, and co-occurring substance use. My goal is to meet you where you are and together agree on a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy, and lifestyle strategies.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is steady, thoughtful, and personalized based on what matters most to you or your child. I combine medication management with supportive therapy and practical strategies for daily life. I listen without judgment and focus on root causes—not just symptoms. You can expect clear communication, transparent guidance, and consistent follow-up as we work to improve focus, mood, and stability.
