Chip Hatton is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Before pursuing advanced practice, Chip worked in a Neuro Trauma ICU unit at a level one trauma center and served on the Rapid Response Team. He then completed his Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Texas Tech University, specializing as a PMHNP.

Chip Hatton is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Prior to his advance practice degree, Chip worked on a Neuro Trauma ICU unit at a level one trauma center and also served on the Rapid Response Team. Chip went on to earn his Masters of Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center with PMHNP as his specialty.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
New patient visits are 40 minutes in length and can be done in person or via telehealth. During an appointment, a patient will receive an assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan, including medication management and therapy. Each treatment is individually tailored to mee the patient's needs.
