About Lloyd James

Lloyd James is a licensed acupuncturist. He attended Pacific College of Health and Science (formerly Pacific College of Oriental Medicine) and graduated in 2003 with a Master’s in Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine. He is also board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York. His Continuing Education Units (CEUs) include Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification, Neuropuncture: Orthopedics and Pain Management, and Functional Applications to Neuroscience Acupuncture Research. He specializes in treating pain conditions such as orthopedic injuries, repetitive strain, stress, anxiety, depression, and other pain-related issues. Lloyd uses a range of techniques in his acupuncture treatments, including Chinese herbal medicine, acupressure, Tui Na, and evidence-based electroacupuncture protocols. We value our patients’ safety and take all necessary and extra measures to ensure it, including taking temperature and blood oxygen levels and sanitizing all used areas after every treatment. New patients should expect to spend 60 to 75 minutes for the initial session, while follow-up sessions typically range from 45 to 60 minutes.
