As a doctorate prepared board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Lori completed her doctorate in nursing practice at Walden University and her graduate degrees at both Purdue University and Texas Tech University. Due to being double board certified and working in both Internal medicine and Psychiatry, Lori is well rounded to provide care to a diverse population. She has a large amount of experience in testing and treating psychiatric disorders throughout the lifespan. My approach My approach to care is to treat her patients in a holistic and compassionate manner while allowing patients to be an equal partner in planning their care and treatment options. My focus I treat patients of all ages and psychiatric conditions to include but not limited to depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. My communication style I like an open communication style where the patient has their choice in the treatment being provided. My journey to mental healthcare I found that there were so many patients that do not have access to care and I wanted to be able to help these patients get the care they deserve. My goals for you I like to implement goals that both the patient and I develop in a collaborative aggreement. My first session with you I would like to get to know my patient and obtain a thorough psychiatric evaluation.
