Lori Weber, RD

Dietitian
MI
Lori is a registered and licensed dietitian with a specialty certification in gerontological nutrition and is a certified health coach. She completed her undergraduate work and dietetic internship at The University of Pittsburgh and is currently working on a masters in nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. She has practiced for over 25 years and has experience with weight management, eating disorders, disordered eating, pre-diabetes, diabetes, cardiovascular conditions (elevated cholesterol and triglycerides, hypertension), renal, gastrointestinal disorders, oncology, pregnancy, and food allergies, and general overall health and wellness. Additionally, she has advanced training in nutrition counseling and coaching strategies. Lori takes a practical approach and individualizes care according to her clients’ needs. She believes that a simple meal plan or “diet” does not help a person achieve long term success. Lori truly enjoys getting to know her clients and works with them to determine the deep-rooted reasons for unhealthy eating habits and focuses on mindful eating. She is passionate to motivate, support, educate, empower, and hold clients accountable when necessary. Lori became a dietitian because of her interest in nutrition and how it influences a person’s health outcomes. This knowledge became helpful when her oldest daughter was diagnosed with dysautonomia and has had to follow a high sodium, gluten, and dairy free diet ever since. Lori enjoys working out, walking her dogs, trying new foods, spending time with friends, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. She wants to find more time to travel and recently went to Australia and Ireland.
