Dr. May is a board-certified gastroenterologist with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for delivering patient-centered digestive care. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Queens College, City University of New York, and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. May completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Utah Hospital, where he developed deep expertise in a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. With a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care, Dr. May provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for both common and complex GI conditions. His clinical interests include colorectal cancer prevention, liver disease, functional bowel disorders, and the management of inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. May is an attending physician at both Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Montefiore Nyack Hospital. He is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through high-quality, compassionate care and the use of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
