Getting to know Lucas Craft
Lucas Craft, MMS, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant specializing exclusively in adult ADHD. He is the founder of Clarity ADHD, a telehealth practice serving adults throughout Washington State.
Lucas earned his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. For the past three years he has worked exclusively in ADHD specialty care, focusing on adult evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management. He also treats the conditions that commonly accompany ADHD, including depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
His interest in ADHD started before his career did. Diagnosed with ADHD himself, he spent years navigating the same frustrations his patients describe: being misunderstood, dismissed, or handed a one size fits all approach that never quite fit. Watching what an accurate diagnosis and a thoughtful treatment plan changed, both for himself and for the patients he has worked with since, is what led him to specialize in adult ADHD care.
Adult ADHD is frequently missed or misdiagnosed, and it is often treated in a fifteen minute appointment that ends in a prescription. Lucas built Clarity ADHD around a slower, more systematic alternative: unhurried evaluations, objective testing, and structured medication trials that compare options directly rather than settling for the first one that seems to work.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I see adults eighteen and older. Because I am licensed in Washington, you need to be physically located in Washington at the time of your visit. All visits are by video.
I specialize in ADHD rather than general psychiatry. That means I evaluate and treat ADHD and the conditions that often travel with it, such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia. If something comes up that falls outside that scope, I will tell you directly and help you find the right person rather than treating it halfway.
You will see me at every visit. There is no rotating panel of clinicians, and you will not have to re explain your history to someone new.
This is a cash pay practice. I do not bill insurance, and pricing is listed up front so there are no surprises after the fact.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
We start with a consultation call. It is a chance for you to ask questions about how I work and for both of us to decide whether this is the right fit before you commit to anything.
The evaluation itself is a sixty minute appointment. We go through your history in detail: how symptoms have shown up across your life rather than just recently, what has been tried before and how it went, what is happening with sleep, mood, and anxiety, and what your day to day actually looks like now. Rushing this step is how adults get misdiagnosed in both directions, so I do not rush it.
Alongside the clinical interview I use QbTest, an FDA cleared computer based measure of attention, impulsivity, and activity level. No test diagnoses ADHD on its own, and QbTest does not either. It adds an objective data point to sit next to the clinical picture instead of relying on memory and self report alone.
If we move forward with medication, I use structured trials rather than starting something and hoping. That means working systematically across methylphenidate based and amphetamine based options at deliberate doses, then comparing how you actually responded to each rather than stopping at the first one that was merely tolerable. Not everyone needs or wants a stimulant, and non stimulant options are part of the conversation.
Follow up visits are where the optimization happens. We track response, side effects, sleep, and function, and adjust from there. Once we have landed on the right regimen, most patients settle into a steady follow up cadence.

Clarity ADHD is a self pay practice. I do not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Every fee is published up front, so you know what a visit costs before you book it.
Starting care. There are three ways in, depending on what you need.
Full Program, ADHD Assessment and Optimization: $1,099. A six week program covering five visits plus QbTest. Includes the sixty minute comprehensive evaluation, FDA cleared QbTest and results review, three systematic medication trials, an extended release trial, a maintenance plan, and secure portal messaging. Booked individually these same services total $1,275.
Intake Evaluation, new patient: $325. The sixty minute comprehensive diagnostic evaluation on its own, including full history, symptom review, screening for co-occurring conditions, and initial treatment planning. This is the option if you would rather pay per visit than enroll in the full program.
Transfer Intake: $325. A one time visit for patients who already have an established ADHD diagnosis. Includes medication history review, PDMP check, controlled substance agreement, symptom check in, a written care plan summary, and pharmacy setup.
Ongoing care.
Maintenance visit, about twenty five minutes: $175
Extended follow up, about forty minutes: $225
QbTest review, about forty minutes: $225
