Lud Denoseharris, NP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
GA
Hi there, I'm Lud! I’ve worked in the medical field for over 25 years, and I bring both clinical experience and real compassion to my practice. I help clients feel heard, understood, and supported while we build a practical plan for healing and growth. My focus I work with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, trauma, sleep issues, and life stress. I especially enjoy helping people who are tired of barely holding it together and want clear, realistic steps toward feeling and functioning better. My approach My approach is collaborative, honest, and thoughtful. Medication can be a very helpful tool, but it is not the whole toolbox. I look at mood, anxiety, sleep, trauma, attention, health history, stress, and daily functioning so we can treat the whole person, not just a diagnosis. My communication style My communication style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. I will listen carefully, ask honest questions, and explain options in plain language. I want you to feel respected, not rushed, and comfortable enough to tell me what is really going on. My journey to mental healthcare I became a PMHNP after more than 25 years as a nurse in medical, hospice, leadership, and psychiatric settings. I was drawn to mental health because emotional pain affects every part of life, and people deserve care that is skilled, compassionate, and honest. My goals for you I help clients set goals that are clear, realistic, and connected to daily life. We look at what is not working, what matters most to you, and what small steps can move things forward. Then we track symptoms, functioning, medications, and progress together. Our first session Our first session is a conversation. I will ask about your symptoms, history, medications, sleep, stress, safety, and what you want help with. We will talk through possible diagnoses and treatment options, then create a plan that feels safe, clear, and doable.
