About Mackenzie Doshi
A native of Annapolis, MD, Mackenzie is a nationally board certified PA who is also licensed by the medical board of Maryland and has been working in the profession since February 2016.
Mackenzie graduated from Anne Arundel Community College’s Physician Assistant Program, where she completed both of her elective rotations in Dermatology, in 2015 while concurrently earning her Masters of Medical Science degree from Saint Francis University.
Mackenzie is practicing general dermatology under the supervision of Dr. Chikoti Mibenge Wheat.
She is truly passionate about dermatology, is thrilled to be part of the Anne Arundel Dermatology team, and looks forward to serving patients of all ages in the Columbia area.

The front lady was not very welcoming. She had an attitude, again not welcoming. Dr. McKenzie was very warm and welcoming. She patiently listened to my concerns. She explained the condition I have and the different ways to treat it. Overall the appointment ended in less than 10 mins and I was satisfied. Now, I was asked by my primary care provider to discuss two issues related to Derm, but I was told by Dr. McKenzie that she doesn't discuss two issues at one appointment. She said I either have to make another appointment or wait for the follow up visit. I found that very odd, but maybe that's the usual practice.

The dermatologist was really nice and knowledgeable. She prescribed and analyzed me more than I had scheduled, but to make me purchase more. She didn’t seem to care about my skin, but more about making a sale. In fact, what she prescribed to me resulted in worse results than before I went in, and I didn’t even go in to get my face analyzed. Overall, nice dermatologist, but I would recommend going somewhere more honest where they prioritize their patient’s needs.

Mackenzie was very helpful and listened to all of my concerns. She immediately addressed an issue that I've had trouble resolving in the past. I hadn't been to a dermatologist in a while so I had a long list of things to discuss and she addressed everything right away.

at age 78, I was skeptical. However, understanding that technology is progressing at a faster pace than ever before, using this system allowed me to get an appointment a lot sooner.
