Getting to know Magdalena Malloy
My name is Dr. Magdalena Malloy and I'm a board-certified doctor of nursing practice and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with licenses in Nevada, Illinois, and Hawaii. I got my training at Eastern Kentucky University, Winston Salem State University, Duke University Medical Center, a variety of hospital and outpatient settings.
My approach
I'll help you not only to reduce feeling of stress and depression but also achieve your personal goals.
My focus
I've been providing mental health care for children, adults, and elderly with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attention deficit and many other psychiatric disorders.

I am dedicated to change the way people see mental illness at all levels of society and advocate for those who struggle in silence.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have been treating patients across the lifespan with mental illnesses since 2017. I’ve worked in an Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse and in Kindred health where she became familiarized with all ages, including elderly. I view the geriatric population as having more patience and I love being a part of the improvements that changes their lives. I enjoy working with all ages and I love working with children and young teens as I am often their first provider and have a huge influence on how their mental health experience will be like. I also have 3 little Yorkies that I often bring to work with me. They brighten up the patients

My goal is to help you develop mindfulness and drive for personal growth in all areas of your life. With a detailed treatment plan, (through medications, therapy, or both) I'll help you not only to reduce feeling of stress and depression but also achieve your personal goals.

Dr. Maloy addressed any concerns I had with medications in a very professional and caring way. She was able to answer all questions I had regarding medications and certain lifestyle adjustments. I see Dr. Maloy once a month, and unlike other mental health providers I've seen, I am always comfortable and never go into appointments anxious/nervous.

Doctor Malloy was very professional, understanding, and thorough. She was able to prescribe me the medication I needed and was able to contact the pharmacy to explain the complications I've been having with the VA to ensure I was able to get a bridge supply of medication. Dr. Malloy is hands down the best and most professional psychiatrist I have ever seen.
