Dr. Maggie Graeber, PsyD

Psychologist
FL
I am a licensed psychologist with a PsyD from the University of Iowa who believes we are doing the best we can with the tools we currently have to navigate life's challenges. Sometimes the tools we have either stop working or we realize they are having negative consequences for us. My style involves taking an active, collaborative, and compassionate approach to creating a safe environment to discuss the difficult topics you are dealing with. I have a strong background in trauma-related and anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and interpersonal relationships. I use various evidence-based strategies, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and exploring life's purpose and meaning. I also take a strengths-based approach (yes, we all have strengths!) because it is often our strengths that help us in the areas where we struggle most. Additionally, I consider issues related to diversity, power, and privilege. I believe there is always hope, even in the darkest of circumstances, and it is that hope that often keeps us going.
