Dr. Mahmoud Salem graduated from Howard University College of Medicine and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he later served as Chief Resident Physician. Currently, he holds the position of Medical Director at a prominent urgent care company in New York City. Dr. Salem founded SalemMD with a mission to enhance the healthspan of his community through dedicated medical care and proactive wellness strategies.

Dr.Salem was great and very relatable. He is a personable man who seems like he cares about his clients. I felt comfortable in the space and the office was clean and quiet. Although the appointment was swift and the doctor asked questions, the physical exam was not as thorough as it should be. There were some key components missing from the exam. I'm not sure if this is a common practice, but I wish the whole examination was included in my appointment.

Booked an appointment on zocdoc and arrived 10 minutes before my appt to knock and ring the door bell many times, call 5 and then finally listen to the answering machine to hear that they are out of office Aug 18-27 and my appt was today the 25th of August. How did I even make the appt? I’m confused. I took an uber there and back so now I’m out $50 for nothing. They sent me so many reminders for the appointment leading up to today just for me to get stood up.
