About Dr. Mahpara Qureshi

Mahpara Qureshi, MD, is a board-certified internist with over twenty-five years of experience working at Doctor's First in Gaithersburg, MD. She attended Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, where she earned her Medical Degree. Dr. Qureshi completed her residency from Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York, where she became Chief Resident in her third year.
After completing her residency in New York City, she went on to work at four different hospitals and at a nursing home to gain experience in the care of acutely ill patients. She also invested time learning to treat patients living with subacute conditions and those in need of long-term rehab.
For the past two years, Dr. Qureshi has been working as a primary care physician and has enjoyed the transition to outpatient medicine. She believes in earning the trust and confidence of her patients through compassionate care and the practice of evidence-based medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Qureshi enjoys reading and traveling with her family. She also volunteers some of her free time for charities.

Dr. Qureshi office is clean and quiet. Its located in an easy to find area. I did not have trouble finding the location at all. I was in need of a new primary care doctor because my doctor had to suddenly retire. I went on ZOC DOC and found Dr. Qureshi and so glad I did! She made me feel comfortable at her office and answered all my questions. I believe in my heart that I made the right choice.
