About Dr. Malini Fowler
Dr. Malini Fowler is a Board Certified Dermatologist that completed her undergraduate studies and graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. She earned her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her internship in General Surgery at Thomason Hospital in El Paso and then returned to Lubbock to complete her residency in Dermatology at Texas Tech University. After residency, Dr. Fowler spent several years in private practice in Kansas, Maryland and Washington before returning to Texas.
Dr. Fowler is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She enjoys medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Fowler moved to San Antonio in 2016 with her husband, Justin, a physician in the U.S. Army, and her 2 young boys. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, chasing her boys around and Peloton.

Friendly staff. Nice environment. This doctor was very charismatic and made me feel comfortable and heard. This was my first time at a dermatologist’s office, so I didn’t know what to expect, but it was overall a pleasant experience. I did have trouble finding the building based off the location.

Dr Fowler is amazing. I was very anxious before the appointment but she helped me relax. She did a thorough exam and answered all my question. She is energetic, knowledgeable and confident about what she is saying. I was able to get a same day appointment which was an added plus. The front office staff and dr fowlers assistant were very really nice. Overall the experience was excellent. I would highly recommend it.
