Hi! I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) based in Illinois. In 2013, I received my Masters in Nursing degree from University of St. Francis in Joliet Illinois at the same time I received my post-masters degree as a Family Nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) and have been in practice as an FNP for over 13 years. I went back to school in 2021 to obtain a degree as a PMHNP from the University of St. Francis in order to help others improve their mental health and quality of life.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my role is to address the biological. In the specialty of psychiatry, this means conducting a psychiatric assessment and identifying the neurochemical (the molecules and ions that regulate the functioning of your nervous system) contributors to the manifestation of your psychiatric symptoms. Many factors can influence your neurochemistry, ranging from co-morbid medical conditions to genetics to daily sunlight exposure. I have been helping children, adolescents, and adults improve their mental health and become a better version of themselves.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
