I specialize in ADHD/ADD, Anxiety, and Depressive Disorders. All clients must complete a psychiatric evaluation during the intake appointment and complete psychiatric clinical scales for anxiety, depression, etc., to help compile a full psychiatric assessment for the purpose of making a diagnosis.

I have been working with Marcus for a while now and I am grateful for this professionalism and attentiveness. He makes sure to keep track of my continuous development, while making sure I develop at my own pace.
I’ve worked with Marcus for almost a year now. It’s important for me to connect and work with a mental health professional of color as a Black man. Working with Marcus has been incredible. He is empathetic, caring, and understands the culture! He’s been attentive and responds to my concerns in a timely manner!
Very knowledgeable and helpful. Great bedside manner. He listens and that the bottom line. Always attentive to every word you say. Has helped me tremendously.

I've been meeting with Marcus once a week, and my third session is coming up. Talking to Marcus makes me feel at ease and feel like I'm finally being heard without judgement. I didn't have the best experience with my previous therapist, but, ever since the first session with Marcus, he truly engages in thoughtful conversations and provides me with different ways to look at any situation I'm dealing with. Thank you!
What an amazing experience, Marcus is absolutely wonderful, kind, patient, and very attentive. I highly recommend seeing him for anyone looking for a new doc.

I definitely recommend him, he’s been such a thoughtful soul & very professional. He truly cares & works with you to make the best choice/treatment for you. As well as really educating you on everything. Also very available & responsive. I haven’t had any problem with getting my prescription straight to pharm. & + He has made me feel comfortable and good about finally getting help and that means a lot to me. Becuz It’s so hard finding a good doc/np in psychiatry. He dosen’t cover my Insurance but his service, consideration and ‘Bedside manner has shown he’s worth it. -Hope this review can help others if your thinking about booking this is your sign! Best of luck for all in your journey to getting better :) !

I have always been afraid of going to the doctor feeling as though I would be judged immediately . This was an outstanding appointment and all the positive reviews are true! I was very anxious prior to the appointment, he was immediately reassuring and comforting . He explained everything clearly and worked with me to develop a plan that was comfortable for me. I can’t give him better reviews! I am so happy I found him! For the first time I felt heard and seen!

Marcus genuinely was so kind and understanding. He doesn't force you to do anything you are not comfortable with. He just lets you talk and when you are struggling, he guides you back. I only had one meeting with him, but he has genuinely done more in one meeting, then most people (including professionals) have done for me. My main concern was ADHD, but he also was helping me with my anxiety and depression. He makes you feel heard and validated. 10/10 would recommend to go to him. The feeling of safety and comfort he provides is unmatched by anyone else you could potentially go to.

Marcus is a great listener, picks up even the small details. He explains all options for treatment and lays out a road map. I would definitely reccomend him to everyone.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. McGill. I made an appointment to be evaluated for adult ADD/ADHD and went through all my symptoms and concerns with Dr. McGill. He is very respectful and doesn't interrupt me when I voice my thoughts and also does not push me to try anything out of my comfort zone. He's also detailed oriented and went over everything with me upfront so my feelings and thoughts were validated. If you're looking for a psychiatrist who listens to you, definitely make an appt. with Marcus!
A very caring and trauma informed therapist!

I am so glad I found Marcus! I only had my first visit and already feel completely comfortable knowing that he would listen and guide me to being the best "me" possible. His bedside manner is incredible. Marcus also makes sure he decribes in detail all possible treatment options as well as all of the pros and cons for each. I highly recommend him!

Marcus is extremely understanding and compassionate. He listens without interruptions...allowing you to complete your thoughts before he submits his insights. I have true and confident that all conversations are just between him and I. As a man of color, it is refreshing to speak to another man who have insights to the issues I am experiencing instead of a therapist who only have textbook knowledge. I would recommend Marcus McGill Psychiatry to any and all looking for a professional therapist. Warren Anderson

Dr. McGill was great and understanding. After explaining what was going on my in life he offered excellent advice and a plan that works for me. He’s approach is working together which I truly appreciate. I have been seeing him for about 4 months and looking to continue working with him.
I've been seeing Marcus McGill for 2 years sporadically, on and off. His care has always been consistent. He's always been welcoming and respectful. When I feel the need to come back in to discuss my care options for my Depression, I'm always welcomed back. He's always been effective and kind. He listens to me. He always gives me more options, like new skills and tools to help me manage my Depression on my own. I don't want to be on medications right now. I feel respected. He's easy to talk too. I feel good when when I leave an appointment. If I had to rate him he'd get a 4.8.
NP Mcgilli was very helpful with helping me deal with some problems I’ve been dealing with for many years . I truly wish that I would have met this man years ago , he makes things make sense something I’ve been struggling with for decades .
