scoping out new doctors for mental health screening and care. She immediately told me she doesn't view my issues, both diagnosed and not, as actual disorders and gave me nonhelplful "tips" to "fix" it. basically just saying "have you tried making lists? or labeling things? or using your phone calendar to set reminders?" which is very infuriating and invalidating, like I haven't thought of that before deciding to seek testing and medication. it basically felt like, right off the bat, with no reasoning or proof, she thought I was lying and just looking for pills. didn't even give me a screening or paper test, just wasted 30 mins of my day + a copay + gas to get there.
