Philosophy of Care
Preventive medicine is the best medicine. People are living longer, healthier lives due to screening tests as well as advancements in treatment. It is a humbling experience to be a patient, and a physician needs to maintain that perspective.
Why I Entered Medicine
I entered medicine due to an interest in basic science and clinical care. Medicine provides a unique opportunity to treat illness at both a molecular and cellular level. With recent advances in these areas, we are able to provide a higher level of care and improve the quality of life for our patients. Medicine is an innovative and ever-changing field.
Education and Training
I earned my Bachelor's degree from Franklin & Marshall College and my Doctor of Medicine from Pennsylvania State University. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Newark.
Community and Charity Involvement
American College of Physicians; community outreach to promote science programs in schools and student career development.

After recently moving to the area, finding a new medical 'home' was a daunting task. Zocdoc really helped me identify a provider in my network that was within walking distance to where I live and was also accepting new patients. I prefer a very friendly practice with a less clinical bedside manor and this is exactly what I found! Would highly recommend!!

I am so glad that I found this practice! From the moment I entered the office, the staff were very friendly. The staff greeted me, welcomed me to the practice, and quickly processed my new patient paperwork. I was seen immediately - I didn't even have a chance to finish filling out the last new patient forms! Dr. DeJoseph was warm, friendly, and clearly explained all of the tests that she performed as part of my annual physical. She also explained the rationale for each blood test that she ordered. I received a vaccine as part of my annual wellness visit, and the doctor checked in on me while I was at the check-out desk to make sure that I felt ok after the shot. I highly recommend Dr. DeJoseph and her wonderful staff.

Dr. DeJoseph was personable and pleasant. I was there for the first time and a yearly wellness visit. She welcomed me to their location. Was thorough at gathering prior health related issues and my health history. Took her time and did not seemed rushed in any way. She was relaxed and a good listener. Suggested options for further screenings for a problem I have and set up blood work to be done. Needed medication and she submitted an RX to my pharmacy right on her computer in the exam room which was nice. I would recommend her. Did not experience anything negative to mention. Was a nice location and staff member at the desk was friendly and thorough. Was an overall pleasant visit.

Dr DeJoseph makes me comfortable; she listens and allows me to participate in health care decisions. I never wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. She responds promptly to my phone/portal questions. And her staff is very friendly and helpful.
