About Dr. Maria Leszczynska
Dr. Maria Leszczynska is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who provides comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages. With dual training in pediatrics and dermatology, she offers a uniquely holistic perspective on skin health, combining evidence-based medicine with a warm, patient-centered approach. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered in their care.
Originally from Poland, Dr. Leszczynska is fluent in Polish and conversational in Spanish. She is passionate about inclusive, affirming care and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for diverse individuals and families.
Dr. Leszczynska completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Spanish, followed by her medical degree at the University of Florida. She went on to complete a pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital before pursuing dermatology residency training at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas, where she served as Chief Resident. During residency, she and her co-residents earned first place in the Dermoscopy Bowl at the 2024 American Academy of Dermatology national conference, a prestigious nationwide competition.
Her clinical expertise spans general, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, including treatments such as Botox and laser therapy. In addition to her practice, Dr. Leszczynska contributes actively to the academic community, with 19 peer-reviewed publications and numerous presentations at national meetings.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Leszczynska, and she was everything you want a physician to be - knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and attentive. She listened carefully to my concerns, asked the right questions, and didn't dismiss my own analysis of what was going on. The medical assistant who took my history was also excellent.

All employees I had interacted with were professional yet kind and fun, when I was given my shot they were joking around yet being polite and knowledgeable because they knew I don't like needles it was just a great experience overall. I'm new to the U.S., and my English isn't very good. I've also been struggling with hair loss for quite some time, which has really affected my self-esteem. I felt truly welcomed and understood by all the doctors who treated me and they even made a point to speak in Spanish, since that's the language I feel most comfortable with. I highly recommend them and will definitely come back if needed.
