About Mariah Rivas
Originally from Kansas, I am an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner holding a board-certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Fort Hays State University, and a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Pittsburg State University. My background includes over seven years in both the community and hospital settings, having the privilege to care for diverse populations.
I provide full-spectrum primary care with optimism, cultural sensitivity, and empathy. My areas of clinical interest include preventative medicine, nutrition, and mental health. I am committed to delivering holistic and evidence-based care that is effective and modern.
Outside of work, my favorite hobbies include fitness, reading, coffee, and travel. I love to spend time with my husband, our families, and our friends, exploring the sunshine state.

Maria is everything you would hope for in a primary care provider—warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring. She took the time to listen to all of my questions and provided thoughtful, thorough answers.
The professionalism of the entire practice also stood out. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient, and the whole visit ran right on time, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that the office values both patient care and respect for your schedule.
I also want to highlight how clean and well-maintained the office was. The space felt welcoming, modern, and spotless, which made the visit even more comfortable and reassuring—especially in today’s healthcare environment.

This week I saw Mariah and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better experience . She takes the time to listen, explains things in a way that actually makes sense, and really makes you feel heard and cared for. I didn’t feel rushed, and I left feeling like I have a clear plan and someone in my corner. She’s knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and super easy to talk to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your health and well-being!
