About Dr. Marie-Lesly Emmanuel

Dr. Emmanuel was born and raised in Chicago and has always had a desire to help those in need. She spent many years caring for patients as a nurse and decided she could make an even greater impact on her patients’ lives as a physician. She is excited to move back to the area after completing a Family Medicine Residency in San Antonio Texas. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cycling and Latin dance, especially bachata. Marie-Lesly Emmanuel MD also speaks Spanish, French, Haitian-Creole.

New doc for me, great listener and good communication.

I needed mental health help and physical and neither were addressed at the time. Had to wait 2 more days when I was alright having a mental breakdown.

The dr was hostile, ignoring and dismissing any of my medical history. She refused to listen at all, even snapped at me and yelled at me! She would get aggressive and leave the room 3x whenever I would start crying. She demanded i get put on medication that didn't work in my past history, and would not help me to be on what has been proven to work. I pray that this improves, because no one deserves to leave in worse condition than they were beforehand!
