Marie Oseh is a Doctor of Nursing Practice from South University, Savannah, and a board-certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner. She earned her Master’s in Family Nursing from South University and holds a Post-master's Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, she completed her Bachelor's degree at Miami Dade College. Mrs. Oseh is experienced in treating various psychiatric disorders and serious, complex mental health issues in adults and children aged ten and above. She also provides primary care services combined with psychiatric care to individuals and families.
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I have many years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience working with clients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD, perinatal mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. I previously worked as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner liaison consultant at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I treat my clients with high-quality care and compassion. I am receptive to the distinctive mental health needs of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have been a long-standing advocate for whole-person care and holistic nursing. I give a lot of meaning to multicultural perspectives on healthcare.
