What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can openly share their thoughts and feelings. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring that therapy aligns with their goals and preferences. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and other therapeutic modalities to help clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop practical tools for managing their well-being. I value open communication and encourage clients to take an active role in their care. Whether we are focusing on talk therapy, exploring emotions, or managing medications, my goal is to provide guidance, education, and strategies that empower you to make meaningful progress. I also take a holistic view of mental health, addressing how factors like sleep, relationships, and self-care influence overall well-being. Above all, I am here to support you on your journey toward greater balance, fulfillment, and mental clarity.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process for working with clients is structured, collaborative, and individualized to meet each person’s unique needs. It begins with an initial session where I focus on building rapport and understanding your concerns, goals, and history. During this session, I’ll gather information about your mental health, medical background, lifestyle, and any challenges you’re currently facing. For psychiatric evaluations, I may use diagnostic tools or screening assessments to identify conditions like depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. Once I have a clear picture, we’ll collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan. This may include talk therapy, medication management, or a combination of both. In ongoing sessions, which typically last 30-60 minutes, we’ll check in on your progress, address new or ongoing concerns, and work on specific goals using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, or other strategies. If medications are involved, I’ll monitor their effectiveness and side effects, adjusting as needed. My focus is on providing a safe and supportive space while empowering you with tools and insights to achieve lasting improvements in your mental health and overall well-being.

Truthfully, this experience was horrible. ZocDoc says one thing while providers office states they never received any of my voicemails or information even though i received confirmation. The doctor never even showed for the visit and then they called me 30 minutes after it was scheduled. Never again. I should’ve read the reviews prior to booking. Seems like this is a reoccurrence.

Doctor I scheduled was unavailable and so I was contacted via phone to schedule with another provider. The person I ultimately talked to didn't listen and would ask me questions I just answered. Bait and switch.

This is the worst place I've ever been to seek mental health. The people did t speak English and never commented with made me go there for nothing. I would never recommend it ever

My appointment was rescheduled 3 times. The last time was 19 min before my appointment. I filled my paper work out only to be told they couldn't accommodate me after question number two, which was on the packet that you pour all your past and deepest emotions in. Also was told I was being given another doctor to the cancelations and guess who my appointment was with? The same doctor. I made a appointment for anxiety and depression. Why wasn't the paperwork ready before? A few days later on a Saturday I get a call for a no show. A no show? Definitely not I'm seeking help, have insurance and still went after being turned down three times before. No sympathy. Don't waste your time.

No one told me about intake forms, when going to complete the intake forms nothing was listed under “intake forms” I had to search for them. I did all the forms required. So when trying to get back on the telehealth I was waiting and waiting in the waiting room. So I gave up . When getting on the chat she seemed annoyed or bothered from the first impression. The receptionist was hard to understand and didn’t give any thorough information. …. I’m sure she is a good provider but not a great first impression. I will not be be rebooking with this office or this provider

I was contacted many times buy the office saying I had not completed the proper forms ahead of time than when I assured them I had I was told they weren’t signed because the program the forms would not allow me to sign them then I was told they were going to figure it out but no one ever got back to me and I sat on the computer staring at myself no one ever got back to me. It’s hard enough as a 45 year old male asking for help but then to go through all this and be told repeatedly that I did not fill out the paperwork when I provided proof of finishing the paperwork and than never even getting to have a therapy session is infuriating and extremely concerning!!
