Marili is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a passion for pediatric care. She was born in Victoria,Texas, and has lived in the Houston area for most of her life. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University in 2001 and went on to earn her nursing degree in 2004 from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Marili pursued further education, obtaining a Master’s degree in Nursing for Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2012 and a post-master’s certificate in Acute Care pediatrics from Rush University in 2015. With over 12 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Marili has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to children and their families. She began her journey at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2004 where she gained invaluable experience working in the Pediatric ICU and as part of the Critical Care Transport Team. She has worked in several pediatric clinics around the Houston area and continues to work at a Pediatric Urgent care clinic. With a strong foundation in primary care Marili is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children ensuring they receive the best possible care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, running and reading.
