About Dr. Marina Mankovetskiy
Dr. Marina Mankovetskiy is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine whose mission is to make her patients feel better immediately and help them get back on their feet. Dr. Mankovetskiy combines deep expertise with a gentle, caring approach. After graduating from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, she completed three years of advanced foot and ankle surgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital – one of the top podiatric residencies in the country – where she was chief resident.
Dr. Mankovetskiy gets to know each of her patients, thoroughly informs them about their foot and ankle problems and works together with the patient to solve those problems in a creative, non-intrusive way, whenever possible. Dr. Mankovetskiy strives to accommodate her patients’ schedules and provide them with the most appropriate individualized treatment options.

This was the most baffling and frustrating experience I've ever had with a medical practitioner.
I went in for a pair of orthotics. Dr. Mankovetskiy insisted that my insurance wouldn't pay for them. She repeatedly belittled, dismissed, and gaslit me when I showed her the plan documents saying orthotics were covered. She ended up refusing to take the moulds for the orthotics and I left empty handed, even when I offered to take the risk and pay fully out of pocket, letting her refund me if my insurance covered them. She said she'd call and confirm coverage the next day, and let me take the moulds then.
She never called me back, and when I followed up over a week later, she admitted my insurance told her they were covered. It didn't matter though, because she said it was her organization's policy to not even submit claims for orthotics.
The lesson: even though she claims to accept your insurance, she'll take your copay, refuse to make your orthotics, and gaslight you along the way!

All of the positive reviews were correct. Very friendly, professional doctor who put me at ease immediately about my injury. We reviewed my xray results right away (no wait time!) and I received my diagnosis and treatment on same visit. Would (and will) strongly recommend this doctor.

There were some misunderstanding before the appointment: As it turned out that my insurance wasn't accepted so Dr. Mankovetskiy thought she already canceled my appointment while I wasn't actually aware of the situation so I showed up at her door at the time of the appointment. When she found out I was there waiting for her, she said she's very sorry and took me in anyway for free. She was very caring, knowledgeable and even asked me come back to see her to make sure everything's on the right track. Thank you Dr. Mankovetskiy!

Dr. Marina is always punctual with regards to appointment time. I was experiencing pain in my right heel for a couple days making it uncomfortable to walk. After several tests she was able to diagnose that I had two heel spurs without any nerve damage. She recommended I wear a walking boot for a couple weeks and continue with physical therapy. One month later, I am able to walk without pain and am very thankful she insisted that I wear a walking boot even thought I resisted. Highly recommend her!

As usual, Dr. Mankovetskiy was immediately punctual and welcoming. She gave me good advice which I intend to follow, even though it will be difficult. She is very knowledgeable about treatment options, and capable with diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. I could not recommend her more highly.

I thought that finding a foot doctor would be no easy feet. I stepped into Dr Mankovetskiy's with some woes in my toes, but I can honestly say that my condition has improved in strides. I can also say that I've gotten a kick out of going to her office, as she's extremely nice, super knowledgeable and has helped me de-feet my pain. Her sole purpose has been to keep my poor feet happy. I've had to step it up, doing my part in physical therapy, but my health plan is footing the bill, so I can't complain. I'm more than happy with the results and I can't wait until my feet find their way to her office again.
