Told me there was nothing to do about my swelling legs / blood flow issue and that it was just an annoying part of life that’s going to get worse. She said it’s not a cardiologist area of expertise but people come to her because it’s part of blood flow (like me). And then told me again there’s nothing I can do about it. Fast forward 1 month and a vascular surgeon—-my veins are too dilated. Quite insane how this doc just said it’s just part of life, being a woman, nothing much u can do instead of recommending me to a vascular specialist.

I had an appt. to see Dr. Lombardo for my heart palpations and dizziness. The Dr. is a people's person. I love that she listened to my explanation of symptoms and then examined me and made suggestions for the appropriate tests, which included several blood tests, an EKG, an Echocardiogram, and a follow-up heart monitor. I did not feel rushed. She called me to discuss the results of my test and when we got cut off from the conversation she even called me back, now that's a lot to be said for a Doctor these days. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Dr. to anyone seeking a cardiologist!

Dr. Lombardo was the best doctor I’ve seen in New York. It’s so hard to find doctors who listen and care, but Dr. Lombardo spent a lot time with me, went out of her way to listen to everything that was going on and reassure me. Highly recommend!

This was quite literally the best experience I’ve had with a doctor in years. No hyperbole.
I saw the nurse first who was so kind and helpful (I was pretty nervous!) I was genuinely shocked.
Then Dr. Lombardo came in and I immediately began speed talking why I was there because I’m so used to being rushed out the door. She urged me to take my time, she listened and asked me questions, and made me laugh to ease my obvious anxiety.
She sat down on a stool across from me, not facing a computer screen, and just talked to me like I was a human being she was genuinely interested in helping?? I was legit floored that she was so kind and funny and patient and acted interested in what I was telling her.
She answered all my questions very thoroughly, explained the next steps in detail, and then just chatted with me a for a minute, which gave me a chance to remember another question had. She made me feel 100xbetter about what had brought me in. I only wish she could be my dr for everything
