This was my first time visiting Dr Ghobrial’s office for a knee issue. Office staff and xray techs were very nice and considerate. Made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr Ghobrial was excellent introduced himself and listened to me concerning my issues. After he explained to me what was wrong and went over everything, he then gave me several alternative's to deal with my issues, and helped me to choose what would be the better choice.

About Dr. Mark Ghobrial

Mark Ghobrial is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. A native of Nutley, NJ, after high school, he completed an accelerated 7-year combined Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree program from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island, NY. While there he was inducted into the Psi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Phi National Medical Honor Societies.
After medical school, he completed his internship and residency at Rowan University-SOM/Jefferson Health (formerly UMDNJ) in South Jersey. While there he received specialized training in all subspecialties of orthopedics including orthopedic trauma surgery at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. During his final year he was appointed as Chief resident and earned the Resident Research Award for his research in hip and knee replacement/revision.
Dr. Ghobrial developed a special interest in hip and knee reconstruction and completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement and revision at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. There, he received advanced training in hip and knee reconstruction, including Minimally Invasive Direct Anterior Hip Replacement under the guidance of renowned surgeon Dr. Marc Hungerford. The minimally invasive technique allows patients to have their hips replaced with a smaller incision, shorter recovery time, and helps patients return to normal routines more quickly. His fellowship provided comprehensive experience in both surgical and non-operative treatments, including physical therapy, injections, and medications.
Dr. Ghobrial is happy to be back to New Jersey and provide exceptional service and personalized care to the community. His goal is to collectively work with each patient to diagnose their issue, provide multiple treatment options and help guide them to make the best decision to feeling better and becoming more active in their daily life.

Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I was a new patient and had to complete the registration form. The person @ the desk who checked to confirm my appointment, was very nice and helped me fill out my information with proficiency and professionallism. There was practically no wait time. I would recommend this doctor to anyone with a Hip or Knee problem.

Great Doctor and an amazing listener. We were seen immediately and the process was the smoothest & fastest I’ve ever experienced in any medical industry with no unnecessary waiting. The doctor really cared about me. He told me what I need to do and how a lifestyle change will benefit my issue. His 1st instinct was not to operate as I have been told in the past. He treated me like a person with feelings unlike the 2 prior specialist I visited.

What can I say about the Union County Orthopedic Group that Dr Mark Ghobrial did my knee replacement surgery I'm happy with the with the result I have heard highly high praises about him as surgery from people that got Knee replacement surgery. If it's the staff at Union County Orthopedic Group & RWJH are always friendly and courteous when you are there at their appointments so thank you for having a wonderful staff at both places.

Since early 2021 I have been a patient of Dr. Gohbrials, and I must say so very satisfied with his professionalism, his courtesy, and his explanation of everything he does, which makes me feel so safe to be in his care. I have never been good with going to the doctor so he is the first one I have ever seen in my life that’s made me less afraid of trusting. He is going to be in charge of my surgery next year and as much as I don’t want to do it I know it’s necessary and I know I will be in great hands. I have never enjoyed getting an injection of anything, but every time I need one in my knee he make sure that I have no pain, and I commend him for that.

I was searching for a new Orthopaedic Surgeon and I feel like I hit the JACKPOT with Dr. Ghobrial. He was very nice and understanding and his staff was amazing. I got right in for an appointment. Once I got to the office everything was well run. From the check in process using an IPad instead of paper. Yay! To x-ray and surgical scheduling. Yep I’m getting a new knee!! Finally found the perfect surgeon for me.

It was quite a pleasure coming into this office! Everything looked neat , the chairs are so nice and comfortable too. The staff is very pleasant and I can't say enough about Dr. Ghobrial. He is a wonderful, gentle doctor. He explained things so well and the injection didn't even hurt.

I really like this doctor. He was so understanding and compassionate. He has a great bedside manner. I had a fracture. He was on call in the hospital i went too. I really like his style he explains the issue then makes a plan and explains it to you. He tries to keep it simple so you understand ehat the issue is and how to make it feel better. I appreciate the honesty and time spent. Instead of feeling rushed I felt better knowing what the issues were. Great Doctor

Dr .Ghobrial was on point with my diagnosis. He was very nice and listened to my complaints. I was feeling better within days of following his treatment plan. The office staff was very welcoming and the wait was minimal. I got an appointment very quickly. I would and will recommend him to my family and friends without hesitation.

My visit to Dr. Ghobrial was very efficient and the staff was very nice. After filling out my medical history on an iPad, I was brought to x-ray and saw the doctor pretty quickly. The office seems to be very well run from what I can tell so far, and I'm looking forward to getting my knee back in shape.
