About Marlene Dabestan
Marlene Dabestan, MSN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care with an emphasis on functional medicine. At OnePeak Medical, she focuses on helping patients identify and address the root causes of chronic illness with the goal of not just managing disease but reversing it whenever possible.
Marlene is passionate about using functional medicine tools to create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that support long-term health and wellness. She is trained in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and provides care for people from all walks of life, including gender-affirming HRT. She is also committed to gut health and is actively expanding her training in this area. Marlene works collaboratively with patients and their specialists to offer comprehensive testing and targeted treatment plans that support digestive health and overall quality of life.
With respect for both Western and Eastern medical traditions, Marlene takes an integrative approach to care, drawing on the strengths of both to create comprehensive, holistic treatment plans. She believes in shared decision-making and works closely with each patient to ensure their values, preferences, and goals are at the center of every health decision.
Marlene sees patients both in-person at OnePeak Medical’s Talent location and via telehealth across Oregon. She offers primary care services as well as specialty care for gut health and/or transgender care.
Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her Australian Cattle Dog, Jasper. Her personal wellness routine includes hiking, yoga, and meditation. She comes from a multicultural background and values learning about different cultures and their approaches to health and healing.
