About Dr. Martin Fleming
Dr. Martin Fleming is a friendly and compassionate chiropractor providing care in the West Village. Dr. Fleming attended the University of Bridgeport, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He was awarded and completed two special community-based internships affiliated with the University. He obtained his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York.
Dr. Fleming runs his own practice, which allows him to ensure that his patients receive the best care and service from start to finish. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey.
Dr. Fleming strives to embody the principles of health and well-being that he shares with his patients. Outside of the office, he enjoys exploring various approaches to physical fitness, including weight and cardio training, as well as CrossFit and group fitness training. He also takes a hands-on approach to nutrition and likes to experiment in the kitchen by finding and trying healthy recipes. Other interests include art, travel, theatre, and movies.
Dr. Fleming enjoys giving back to his community and has participated in many volunteer activities, including Freihofer's Run for Women Road Race in Albany, NY, and Boilermaker Road Race in Utica, NY. He has also carried out medical activities and services at Chase Wellness Centers in Bridgeport, CT.

It was my first time visiting a chiropractor so I was naturally a little nervous. Dr. Fleming was very kind and made me feel comfortable immediately. He addressed all of my concerns right away and the adjustment left me feeling like I was on cloud 9. I definitely would recommend him!

Very thoughtful and attentive. He could have been a bit more forceful in the re-alignment and hands-on portion of the appointment, but everything else during the appointment was excellent. I would recommend him to most people, but if looking for a very forceful re-alignment / stretch I would maybe focus on a more sports oriented chiro.

I am a very active person and every now and again need chiropractic adjustments to help alleviate tension and pain in my hips and knees, so I only get on an as needed basis. I just moved to NY and where I previously lived, had a very professional and phenomenal chiro I loved and could always count on to help athletes like myself. As I am re-establishing my go-to doctors, I found Dr. Fleming on Zocdoc and chose to see him as he had a next day appointment available, had good reviews and was conveniently located.
I hope my transparency with a truthful review will help others so you have a better idea of making a decision around choosing your next specialist. Dr. Fleming was very personable, took a lot of time in the beginning to discuss my ailments, which was great, but quite honestly, I do not recommend him as a chiro. The doc was quick to assess a need for a few various procedures and when I declined to have an ultra sound, he then awkwardly sped through the actual adjustment. It was so quick, and uncomfortable.. Adjustments of your spine are no joke, please, please be sure to do your research when choosing your next specialist. As of this moment I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.
