I want you to understand the "why" behind any recommendation, and I adjust as we go based on what you tell me is or isn't working. My goal is for you to feel genuinely better. My communication style My style is calm, direct, and collaborative. I explain my reasoning clearly so you always know the "why" behind a recommendation, and I welcome questions or pushback; this works best as a two-way conversation, not a one-way instruction. I aim to be consistent and easy to reach between visits when you need me. My journey to mental healthcare I have spent over 18 years in healthcare, and it was my work with trauma survivors that drew me specifically into psychiatric care. I saw firsthand how much evidence-based, compassionate treatment can change someone's life. My goals for you I ask clients to help define what "better" would actually look like for them, since that's different for everyone. Then we track progress together honestly, including when something isn't working, and adjust the plan instead of sticking rigidly to an initial approach. Goals aren't fixed in stone at the first visit; they evolve as you do.
