Mary Ellen Ulmer, M.D., is an experienced and concerned pediatrician serving the communities of Beaverton and Tigard, Ore. Dr. Ulmer attended Northwestern University Medical School, where she received her medical degree, and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Ulmer practices at The Portland Clinic. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Ulmer is deeply committed to the well-being of her patients. She takes a thorough and precise approach to her consultations to ensure that she is consistently giving accurate diagnoses. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. As a pediatrician, she is pro-immunization and believes that vaccines are a safe and effective intervention. Dr. Ulmer follows the immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and believes it is safe for all children.
