Dr. Maryam Syed did not listen to any of my concerns. I went in for an issue with either a cracked rib or a pulled muscle. I repeatedly told her that I was having trouble breathing. Especially while laying down or sleeping. She would not let me believe the two were related, when they absolutely are. I am in a lot of pain with this. I told her I was just taking Advil and that it was not helping. She told me to continue to take the Advil and to “let her know if it wasn’t helping” I guess me saying it didn’t help from the beginning wasn’t enough. She also had another person with her. I’m assuming she was in training. She didn’t introduce this person, nor did she explain why someone was in the room with us for my appointment. I don’t mind that, but an introduction and an explanation would have been courteous. On top of all of that, the staff from the front desk to the nurse who took my vitals were all incredibly rude. No one enjoys going to the doctor. They’re not there for fun. Maybe be a little kinder to your patients.
Dr. Syed was really informative, thorough. She explained everything that she was doing and if she felt that more should be done she suggested what would be next.
Decent doctor, if you get her. Some of her colleagues, not so much
Staff is exceptionally rude and judgemental.
Dr is great, her medical assistants however are quite rude
Professional, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. I had an appointment right when they were closing, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Both the nurse and Dr. Syed were thorough with my exam.
If you're going for a physical- they have a sign posted in the office that they will do blood work including blood work not likely covered by insurance. They will try to sell you B-12 shots. Also, was left waiting for a long time in a hot exam room, and seen by a med student and a student shadowing the doctor (who incorrectly took my blood pressure and pulse so it had to be done again). Go somewhere else.
Nurses are all super nice and Dr. Syed does a really good job of explaining everything that you need to know and all of your options.
Very professional. Diagnosed problems quickly. Would recommend.
