About Dr. Matthew Nelson

**Please be aware, that due to clinical research, the ending of the Covid 19 public health emergency, and supply chain challenges, we are no longer able to accept any new patients needing controlled substances such as Adderall, Alprazolam, and Ambien** Outside of medicine I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog in the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping or visiting a new brewery! On my off days you can find me either golfing or snowboarding depending on the season. I completed my undergrad at the University of Colorado in Boulder and spent the next four years studying medicine at A.T. Still University -- Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am thrilled to return to my home state of Colorado to continue my internal medicine training and to work with patients to keep them healthy and active!

Dr. Nelson is exceptional. I have a long medical history and he was very thorough and patience with my explanation of what was occurring with me medically. In return he was very descriptive of what he thinks is occurring and the need for follow up care from a surgeon. I am impressed with him and the clinic very pleasant people who seem to genuinely care. Thank you.
