About Dr. Matthew Sedgley
Matthew Sedgley is an experienced and detail-oriented primary care sports medicine specialist serving the communities of Ellicott City and Westminster, MD. Dr. Sedgley earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Minnesota and his fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Sedgley is part of MedStar UMH Orthopaedics. He is certified in family medicine and sports medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and is affiliated with MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He sees patients for acute sports injuries as well as other common running injuries and has experience working with athletes at all levels-from collegiate to recreational to professional.
