My experience felt very dismissive. I came in with chest pain and palpitations. First she came into the room thinking I was another pt and called me by another name. She had to pull up the right chart. She ignored my chest pain saying it could be just muscular or gastric but didn’t ask me any questions. Just do I feel pain while walking and that’s it. I even told her my BP goes up to 160/100 and I feel the pain going to my jaw and left arm. And then my chest palpitations she dismissed “I had five people come to me talk about chest palpitations. Something probably going around”. When I asked one question about chest pain and told me it’s probably nothing serious then “hold on” from answering my questions because she was doing something. I’m a nurse/ NP so I do take intake all the time. I refuse to take any thing prescribed from her. The echo tech was efficient but when she began ripping the leads off aggressively. I was visibly jumping. She didn’t care and kept going. I was OVER IT.
Very nice and competent doctor. Highly recommend.

Honestly wish I had a heart problem just so I could see Dr. Wang regularly. She’s soooo smart, yet so kind and personable which shouldn’t be as surprising as it is, but for the number of doctors I’ve visited in NYC, specifically cardiologists, she’s the best you’re gonna get!

During my first visit to Dr. Wang's office, the receptionist quickly got my paperwork done quickly. Next, the physician's assistant did a thorough checklist concerning my health. Dr. Wang was professional and comforting, suggesting and implementing tests for my heart to ease my relief and to be on the safe side. I would recommend see Dr. Wang and go to her again when needed.

Dr Wang took the time to look in detail through my heart health history, listened to present concerns, and was clear about plans for further testing. We had a far ranging conversation about habit improvements and modes of exercise which left me with clear and specific guidance and a lot less worry than I carried into this visit. Highly recommended.
