Maurice Wells, DAcHM, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac. Dr. Maurice Wells is an Arizona Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture College & Clinic. He believes that acupuncture is the least invasive method to assist the body's innate healing processes and that the simplest healing methods are usually the best. Dr. Wells has a specific interest in treating musculoskeletal, mental health, and neurological conditions. He is also passionate about caring for service members, veterans, and their families who face the stressors and injuries associated with military service. A retired combat veteran, Dr. Wells served over 20 years in the Army as a Helicopter Mechanic, Healthcare Specialist (Combat Medic), and Human Resources Specialist. His diverse experiences have shaped him into a compassionate professional who utilizes Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat his patients. He recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit and strives to address them all to achieve balance, harmony, and health.

This acupuncture appointment was one of the best things I could have done for my body. Dr. Wells was very welcoming and informative, I felt so calm and relaxed after. I would highly recomend to everyone.
Based on what I tell Dr. Wells at each visit he informes me clearly what he is going to treat and how he will insert the needles. His bedside manner is great. He is very intuitive. He like to joke and tease and educate me on his techniques.
