“This was a great doctors visit, I would usually dread going to the doctor but something makes me want to go back. The doctor was very informative. I was in and out. Every concern that I had was addressed and not dismissed. The front desk was great as well I needed copies of everything for my job and they had no problem giving it to me. A great experience, nothing to improve on. 10/10 highly recommend.”

Mauricio G. De Melo, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine and currently practices at Optum in Secaucus, New Jersey. He earned his medical degree from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) Faculdade de Medicina in Recife. Dr. De Melo completed an internship in General Surgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and a fellowship at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. I was told to arrive at 7:45am as a new patient. Office was not easy to find. There were printed signs everywhere but none were clear. Office entrance inside building was dark & not well lit. Staff didn’t arrive until 7:55am. She was unfriendly & clearly not happy to be there and it showed. Direct Access recommended Dr. Demelo as an ENT physician, HE IS NOT! Complete waste of my time and I still have an issue. Never again with ZocDoc

i can say i had a very good experience, my results were in fast. the medicine arrived at my pharmacy which made it a very easy pick up. staff was very friendly and kind. i was very pleased with my overall experience.

Dr. DeMelo came highly recommended!
I have been looking for a doctor who cares about all I have to say, and after 4 years of not having a PCP, I had A LOT to say.
He listened to everything I had to say intently and came up with a very fair solution. Instead of just prescribing what I thought I needed right away, he suggested we do bloodwork first to be sure we weren’t missing other causes for the concerns I had. I had never even thought it could be a result of anything underlying.
The staff members were knowledgeable, pleasant, quick/ efficient.
The office was VERY CLEAN which I appreciate bc I am a germaphobe.
It smelled good, too.
I did not appreciate getting 7 of the same email but I’m sure that’s a system issue (my advice would be to turn off email notifications).
In short, everything was lovely! Go here!!

Many things to say ! First the doctor 100% lovely person but his staff is terrible , rude people , he send me to take my blood test and the lady from the laboratory was more than rude , she looks unhappy there and her way is treat the patient unwelcome , also this laboratory trying to make me give the my credit card info IN CASE that my insurance don’t cover that test . This is unacceptable how I’m gonna give my info for that ? The insurance always cover the blood test when is anul phisycak exams , this laboratory want overcharge you for just a simple test . I never fount to back unfortunately
