About Dr. Maya Kron
Dr. Maya Kron, L.Ac., began her study of the human body while at York University, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Integrating her knowledge of anatomy and physiology with Traditional Chinese Medicine, she earned her Master’s degree from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2010. Maya recently graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she earned a doctorate in acupuncture and herbal medicine. She is nationally board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed in acupuncture by the States of New York and New Jersey. She is also a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
"My approach to treating patients is highly individualized and holistic. I carefully listen to and build a strong relationship with my patients in order to develop a detailed and clear picture of each patient’s overall health and unique needs. From this I develop a comprehensive treatment plan that not only addresses the presenting ailment, but also treats the root cause of the condition.

Dr. Kron is wonderful—gentle, caring, and incredibly skilled. I’ve been seeing her weekly for several months due to a terrible TMJ flare-up, and her treatments have helped me immensely. I also have fibromyalgia, and acupuncture with Dr. Kron has made a significant difference in managing my symptoms. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and effective care.
