Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

I scheduled 2 appointments - 2 different providers at the same organization both were cancelled. I called their office, was told I hadn't filled up some forms. Nobody had sent me those forms. I filled them up right away, office assured me they took my insurance. Yet both both doctors cancelled my appointments through text messaging that says "may be they don't take my insurance or are not available". Why advertize on ZocDoc if that's the case? Sheer waste of time.
