Dietitian
MI
Hey there, I am Meg! I am the practice owner/operator of Phases Intuitive Wellness. I am a food relationships dietitian and hold both a BS and MS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. I received these through the Blue-zoned, plant-based school of Loma Linda University in California, however, I work with all eating patterns. I excitedly nutrition counsel in women’s wellness for all gender identities seeking guidance with their food and body relationships, ready to take part in their own wellness journey. I am passionate in my role in improving misalignment of food relationships, body dissatisfaction, PMOS (AKA: PCOS), Anxiety, Depression, emotional eating, Eating Disorders (e.g. BED, AN, BN, etc.), hormone dysregulation, and more. My role is as mentor and guide throughout your expedition of self-discovery where you will learn how to properly nourish your body and mind in all phases of life (and cycle - as it may apply to you). As an Eating Disorder dietitian I have worked within all levels of ED care from Inpatient through Residential, to PHP through Outpatient. I have found there is a significant deficiency in support for those that do not fit within the specific guidelines of Eating Disorder diagnoses, yet do struggle with dieting or whole macronutrient elimination, significant body changes, negative self-talk, variable restriction, emotional eating, and over-exercise. Perhaps you skip most meals because of your schedule or simply have lost touch with your hunger and fullness cues. Maybe you’ve never tracked your cycle and don’t know where to begin, or have painful menstruation or PMOS (previously known as PCOS). Whatever your story, I am here to hold a brave space for transformation through accountability while reminding you that softness is not the enemy and satisfaction is vital. When we work together, our focus is on nourishment of the body and mind, trust in one’s own “knowing”, and a reclamation of self-love, self-devotion , and satisfaction. We cover…
