About Meghan Doody
Meghan Doody provides medical weight management by video for adults across Maryland and accepts most major insurance plans. Meghan is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, APRN, FNP-BC) and certified health coach with a background in cardiovascular risk reduction, including work at Walter Reed, and obesity medicine. She takes an in-depth look at each patient's weight history, health, and goals. She monitors the metabolic and cardiovascular risk factors affected by weight, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, and coordinates with primary care and specialty providers when those conditions need treatment beyond weight management.

I had a great experience with Meghan for a weight loss consultation. She was easy to talk to and explained the different options without making the visit feel judgmental. I left feeling like I had a realistic plan and a much better understanding of what would work for me!

Meghan is simply the best. She makes you feel like you're her only patient. She listens, remembers details, and never makes you feel rushed. That alone is rare enough, but what really sets her apart is how clearly she explains everything. No confusing medical jargon, just clear explanation of issues and ensuring that things actually make sense. She regularly checks in, adjusts the plan when needed, and made sure we understood everything. Meghan genuinely cares, and you can feel it. She's the kind of provider you refer your family and friends to without hesitation. If you're lucky enough to have her as your FNP, don't let her go.

I had a wonderful experience working with Meghan at Long View Health. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. Healthcare can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Meghan took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and make sure I understood what to expect.
What I appreciated most was how personal the experience felt. I never felt rushed or like I was just another patient. Meghan was responsive when I needed help and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I was taken care of.
I’m very grateful for the support I received and would absolutely recommend Meghan and Long View Health to anyone looking for thoughtful, compassionate care.
