About Melanie Quinn
Melanie is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant and a native Texan. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and her Physician Assistant degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center – School of Allied Health Science in Dallas.
Upon graduating, Melanie worked in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital for seven years before transitioning to Occupational Medicine until she became a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed homeschooling her three children and then living abroad in her husband's hometown in Northern Ireland for almost three years. Upon returning to Dallas, Melanie worked in Women's Health and Functional Medicine until joining the Total Med team in 2017 at the Dallas clinic.
Melanie believes that nutrition, gut health, optimization of hormones, and lifestyle changes have the power to heal. Using bioidentical hormones for men and women contributes to overall well-being and good health!
