About Dr. Melinda Nicholes
Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Nicholes received her undergraduate degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. She earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University and then completed her 3 year surgical residency at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Nicholes is skilled in the techniques of foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, wound care, and diabetic foot care.
In her spare time, Dr. Nicholes enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking with their two dogs, camping, reading and playing board games.

Definitely would go back. This was the best experience for my second ingrown nail fix. I wish I would have gone here for the first procedure instead of my primary physician.

Dr was great. I will return and recommend her to friends. I will say I got a bewildering array of requests to register for the appointment. I thought I completed the process but got more requests, texts, emails and a phone call from the other end of the country, that I nearly didn’t answer, reminding me. When I got to the office there was no one at the desk until a few minutes before my 1:00 pm appointment. Someone showed up, signed the others waiting ahead of me then got me signed in at 1. The Dr called me shortly after I sat down. Things went smoothly from then on.
