“Ive been struggling for the past 5 years. Its very hard to advocate for yourself and know your body. Ive tried talking to psychs but at the end of the day, they basically said “your out of luck”
First doctor that i felt heard and actually listened and offered the help I need it brought me to tears. “How have i been living like this?” So many tragedies because your a number. I just think if i had met her a long time ago, so much trauma and waking up scared dreading every day would have been eliminated.
Thank you for doing your job, thank you for advocating for us when we cant. I could not reccomend her more. Dont wait”

She began her healthcare journey as a certified nursing assistant and earned her practical nursing degree in 2011. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 and completed her master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in Family Health Nursing in 2019, both from Clarkson College.
Melissa’s career includes pediatric care roles, such as working in the Pediatric ICU at Children’s Hospital and helping establish a new Pediatric ICU at Boys Town National Research Hospital. She began her nurse practitioner career in neurology, where she gained insight into the critical link between brain health and overall well-being.
After experiencing brain fog, low energy, and hair loss following childbirth, Melissa sought hormonal supplementation and adopted a healthier lifestyle. This personal journey inspired her to focus on individualized care and support others facing similar health challenges. Her areas of interest include hormone replacement, aesthetic procedures, primary care, nutrition, and functional medicine. Melissa emphasizes patient education and autonomy in her approach, fostering steady collaboration with her patients.

Melissa was so informed, listened to me and actually HEARD what I was saying, very kind & patient, and worked with me to find just the right protocol to help me actually get better!! She's an expert on hormones, that is for sure! The staff at Functional Healthcare of Omaha were so helpful and efficient! I'm so glad I found this gem!!
